I guess the only contact I had was earlier I sent her an e-mail telling her to stop contacting my family and to stay away from me I guess thats what made her so mad.

How do you really know that the guy was the police. You call the police and ask if this is the way they do business. I bet it was her friend that was put up to this.

Yes, I have had a crazy ex....

My ex broke into my house, slashed my waterbed to pieces dumped all my clothes out of the closet and dresser onto the floor and threw red paint across it all... He left a message on my answering machine that said "You are a stupid dead b***h, where will you sleep with your boy toy now?"

I filed charges agiasnt him for breaking and entering, destruction of property, harrassment and death threats... I immediately aquirred a restraining order..... I also filed suit in small claims court for the value of all items destroyed...

I really wanted to reply to his telephone message I even had my reply all ready.. "At his apartment, Duh." But I couldn't reply without blowing my court cases against him :(

My suggestion to you would be to continue your no contat policy, If she contacts you record all times dates and what was said... Call the police and request a restraining order against her...

In order for either of you to have a case there needs to be a records of the harrassment... Telephone records or reliable cooroberating witnesses... For now all you can do is collect any evidence of her harrassing you and continue to ignore her making sure to not call or e-mail or have any other contact with her... If you do her case is dead in the water because if you are not contacting her how could you be harrassing her... If she continues to report the supposed harrassment that is fake she can be charged with filing a false police report...

Police officers do not call to tell you about it .
After the paperwork has been filed they personally may give you a visit.

Its all bogus . Just ignore her . If you recieve any Emails save them . Notes / letters. Save them ...Phone calls record them.
Do not threaten her touch her or yell at her. Just be polite she'll go away.
Just save the crazy info you recieve as a precaution against her being an educated wacko. Trust me on that one .
Otherwise dont let it worry you. You have done nothing wrong

document everything

every time she calls and start doing a daily log of your activities
i am a private investigator and this is what we tell our clients to start doing

get a special note book
and keep it with you do date time and event
so if you ever have to go to court your memory will never fail you and remember to write down names of each and every person just incase
save reciepts

this is serious business

divorce and break up get really nasty

i was married 20yrs and i tell you i have a x from hell
and each time we went to court i was cover i kept and copied all emails and iM letters phone calls

i crossed every t and dotted every i
why because i wanted to be 100%^ covered

if you dont look out for you who will

good luck

Some folks say that "crazy ex" is redundant. Guess you better explain to the police officer.

best thing to do is get a recorder for the phone. Keep record of when they call you. Let the phone company know, and they can help you with records. They can also block their # and block it so you cant call there. That way they cant say you did.

Just keep ignoring her, she'll give up because she wanting you to be scared or you sure it was a police officer that called, I think not.
