its a metal/hard rock song, i dont know if thats your kinda music, but its about losing a friend that you've known your whole life, and when you can feel them around you later on in life, protecting you from harm. the guy that wrote it isnt really the religious type, but he's had a few close calls and said he could feel that he was being kept out of harms way. eerie stuff.
