Sounds like a pretty sick pick-up line to me. Nobody can be a gynecologist without a medical degree. He's just trying to get down your pants.

The word "amateur" implies that he simply does it for "fun" as opposed to having any sort of medical knowledge. So I suppose there really is nothing to buy, so to speak.
