Technically a fire extinguisher is hazardous - it's under pressure, which is dangerous and requires a special permit to ship. Smoke detectors have radioactive material in them. Batteries have mercury and/or acid in them. Cigarette lighters are flamable, of course. Most of the hazardous stuff is in the garage - paint, ink, paint-thinner, rubbing alcohol, motor oil, engine cleaner, any number of things.
