I had a friend for over 10 years and he betrayed me for someone else which he had known for less thatn 6 months. He recently called me and I didnt answer the phone or return the call I have since changed my number. tell me you r experience.

I was betrayed by my friend who became my son's father. How was I betrayed? He molested my daughter. Fortunately, I had the the opportunity to express my feelings of betrayal, anger, mistrust,etc. to him. Because I was able to do this, I was able to forgive him. (to make a long story short.) So, I was able to move on with my life.
My suggestion to you is, if you have the opportunity to express your feelings, do so. It can release a multitude of feelings, etc. and give you the opportunity to be free to forgive. Because as long as you feel the negative feelings, that friend holds you captive, a hostage. DON'T LET THE BETRAYAL CONTINUE. Release those feelings and be set free. Life does not revolve around that person and don't give that person the POWER to ruin your life with resentments, etc.

I had a friend for my whole entire life. We were best friends. We spent every single moment together, and we had a blast all the time. We hardly ever argued, and we were like sisters, except closer. Even though sometimes I was a bad friend, she always forgave me. Then, about a year ago, she turned on me. She just went wayy over her head in a lot of things and was totally unfair to me. She got me into LOADS of trouble, and pretended to be sorry about it. I never want to see her again. I feel so sorry for you honey, I know how you feel.

Yes I have had this happen, we were friends for years,she betrayed me,I dropped her like and old shoe, haven't spoke to her in about 4yrs and don't intend to. No apology would ever help our relationship. It's a very long story.

Happened a few times with different people. But I hate to hold a grudge. I made up after a few years when I started to really miss them. But i never trusted them again and we weren't as good friends as we were at first.

Well, yeah, i had the worse experience today. A friend of mine is having a pretty big party tonight...I always invite her everywhere, so i assumed id get invited within the week that i heard about it-nope. all the popular ppl that kinda like her are invited, and a lot of guys, but no, not me. she totally just forets about me. theres one girl she doesn't even like who she invited just because she wanted a guy that likes that girl to come. she also invited the guy she knows i like-but not me. i can't help but feel that i can't really trust anyone to care about me anymore-i feel like i don't really matter.

I walked in on my husband and my best friend getting it on on my couch. I was asleep andso was our 5mnth old daughter in our bed and I woke up to feed her walked into the living room and seen them... It sucked. MAJOR. But time heals all things and he regrets it now when he sees me dating other men. Yeah I filed for divorce after that. Noway was he going to disrespect me or our daughter like that again.
