For security reasons you can get them after 2 weeks of time. Plus you have to pay a fee to get the images. Googles images are pretty old for some parts of New Orleans.

If you have a friend in the US metereology center or US military, you probably could get live views.

You can try Google Earth. Depending on the last update of that area's images, you might get what you want. Looks like the last update is 28-Mar-2006
