You don't need any documentation. Just have your application download the URL composed of the following:

1. http://finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=
2. Stock symbol or comma-separated list of symbols, and
3. &f=sl1d1t1c1ohgv&e=.csv

Examples:

http://finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=SPY&f=sl1d1t1c1ohgv&e=.csv
http://finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=AAPL,IBM,MSFT,YHOO&f=sl1d1t1c1ohgv&e=.csv
