BEAUTY!!! The beauty of all things; plants, animals, water, air, fire. It may be corny, but everyday, I take time when I am driving to just admire the beaty of all things natural, and to just thank God for my existence to witness it.

Oh I think I love it all, even the ugly bits. I think the Earth is like one huge living Being. She is all of us, all of life, gathered here on this planet. And like all of us, the Earth has its wonderful moments and its dark corners. There are waterfalls and slums. There are deserts and dictatorships. But it is all living. And I want to be alive too. So I come to embrace our Earth not as a stranger, but as a child made in the image of my Mother, spots and all.

What captures me the most about living here on earth is the beauty of the bluest ocean or the darkest night when there are a zillion stars out........breath taking
& that we are not aliens too !

The secrets it holds. We know more about the surface of the moon than we do our own inner planet and oceans. I love that we are clueless, and one day, our cluelessness will bring humanity together.

The fact that I can feel its pleasure and pain through my feet. It communicates, tells me it hates concrete and loves the perennials I plant in the garden. It reminds me to respect it. It keeps itself in balance and doesn't hesitate to shrug its shoulders (no matter how it may damage mankind and others) if it feels the need in order to keep itself healthy. I love its strength and beauty and the beautiful green wombs of its oceans.

The distance to the Sun. 93 million miles. Just perfect, not too hot, not too cold. makes for some very nice sunsets, makes for wonderful deserts when you want to feel warm, makes for some awesome rainbows. I love that distance.
