my suggestion:
Wait until the baby grows up and let HER decide whether she wants her ears pierced.

at 5 months old you need your head examining not a person to pierce ears. i am all for ear piercing but this is way to young. anyone who answers this in the way you intended is out of their minds, what sort of a mother are you are there not more important issues at the moment to be getting on with

that is a lsit of APP piercers in GA, they all seem to be in Atlanta, so to find a good piercer near you try going to a local tattoo and piercing shop and ask about their method of sterilization, ask how many times they use each needle, ask about what kind of jewelry they recomend, ask to see a portfolio of piercings they have done, ask anything you can think of and if they can't answer leave and go somewhere else!

Don't listen to this people honey, I'm planning on piercing my baby's ears soon too. The best place to go is to the Drs office, sometimes they do it there or he gives you advice on where to take her. What's the big deal on the pierced ears anyway, I think they look adorable, plus no one is gonna say what abeautiful boy you have :-)

Don't do that to your child. Let it be HER decision when and if she gets her ears pierced. No offense, but babies with pierced ears look scummy.

GEORGIA RULES!!! In the mall you should check out that chick store, I think its called Claires, or something they sell like girl ear rings and stuff, they usually do it.

Claires should do it for free plus the cost of the earrings you buy. Don't listen to these other people--if that's what you want to do go for it!

You can try a piercing parlor (tattoo shop), at least they're sterile.
