I don't think the city was that heavily damaged. My friend's parents who live there are certainly doin' fine.

Mobile the city had some damage, it was mainly the towns down on the bayou. Those were the ones that were destroyed. As far as I know, the schools are up and running, I don't know about people's houses though.

Not nearly enough; however, Iraq seems to have a good many new building projects funded by the US.
