Editorial to teach rhetorical strategies in 11th grade?

Hi - I need an editorial or speech or something - modern! - to illustrate the use of rhetorical devices and strategies to my 11th graders. Does anybody have any ideas? Leonard Pitts will work, I suppose, or MLK, but I'd like to have more ideas to draw from.

Try a known liberal or conservative, someone likely to be using biased language. You could point out how the tone differs from the tone in a more objective piece.
