Not enough proper soldiers and all the stupid rules - British soldiers are in an impossible position and their kit is crap as well.

NATO will loose the war, because they are still so naive and trust able. I am not an aggressive person, but I know that NATO must use something more powerful then their own solders.Remember how many casualties former USSR had? The same will be with the NATO,! Start to use the rockets (special ones), not the people. This danger territory should not be existed. Taliban is not humans - they are as insects. So...kill them before they will do the same with us!

Since 2002 Nato was content to keep its forces in Kabul and the north. The area in southern Afghanistan is very difficult its a mountainous terrain and Taliban also have some support in the population. But now it is trying to expand its offensive. But the number of troops there are not sufficient (we only have about 18,500 Nato troops and a similar number of US troops). Afghanistan fought the 100,000 strong contingent of Soviet Russia from 1979 to 1988. Nato needs to increase the number of its troops there, if it wants to control entire Afghanistan.
