Seems kinda commen sense you would. I mean you have to keep exercising to stay healthy, if you quit, you become less healthy. So lifting, running, whatever it is, if you just stop and do nothing, yes you loose strength.
Some form of exercise has to be maintained to stay at the same level of performance.

I think the phrase is "use it or lose it." It is where you took a month off. Your muscles are not as conditioned as they were....I take it you were at a peak performance over a month ago? You will just have to work back up to that peak and then go beyond it. Once you go beyond and a bit further, you may settle where if you took a month off you would be where you were at the first peak.
Use it or lose it! It has to be everyday or at least every other to maintain a peak strength.

it can happen so quik on loseing strength,trust me I used to lift a lot but then didn't for a bit and lost my strength that I had,or maybe something else is playing a part like to much drinkning or drug intake and not having a well balanced diet.
