Joe Girardi is the Marlins manager. He played catcher for the Yankees from 1996 until 1999. He was then a Yankees bench coach until he went to Florida. (Which is too bad because he was a great coach for the Yanks.) Also, watch for Don Mattingly (current Yankees bench (hitting) coach) to become a manager, it could happen any year now.
