First off you are using perfumes. Start using cologne. A mild musk scent is good. Polo has a nice light cologne called Polo Black. You can also go with Cool Water by Davidoff or Chrome (don't remember by whom).
Contradiction is a cool scent too.
The strong and highly scented colognes are mostly a turnoff because people generalize the user as trying to hide body odor!
These are all mild colognes with a scent and sense of confidence. Try it you'll see the result.

you need to look into the scents made by Be Never too Busy to be Beautiful - the cosmetics company attached to Lush. If you go into Lush.co.uk there is a link to it and they have a fabulous shop in Carnaby Street. They have several male scents which you will love (taking into account your pachouli days and your au natural days!!) I also dont enjoy the alcohol in most scents. These are totally different and one of my favs for men has tones of chocolate and tobacco - its much much much nicer than it souns and would most definitely draw me at least into a deeper conversation!!!

Eternity is my absolute favourite, it smells good on any guy that wears it. You could try the scented shower gels/after shave balms that most of the big brands release, not as strong or repellant as the real thing but you still get that gorgeous scent!

Eternity is a good cologne, but my hubby doesn't wear anything but soap and deodorant, which is great. I think women like the smell of a clean man, mostly, and that way you don't worry about putting on too much cologne either.

I used to love English Leather but that is so old fashioned!
Fragonard makes some very nice subtle fragrances.
My late husband used to do carpentry so I liked the smell of fresh cut lumber.

I'm male, but Brut33 is having a resurgence. Most of the young girlies never experienced it first time round, they weren't even born. Quite a few of my son's mates are wearing it again, and it is going down well, they are pulling..... I still use it, 'splash it all over'

She commented on his 'scent' and hes never been able to wear it to work again. I banned him from wearing it for a long long time... he doesnt give her a hug anymore......shes since left anyway so im happy!
