I need to find how the duties of a geologist varies by industry, establishment, or size of the firm. My school and library doesn't have many geology books, so I'm forced to use the internet. Please provide a source I can use. I'm not allowed to use Wikipedia. How else can I word this in a web search to find results?

One quick way would be to contact a geological firm and ask for the answers to your questions. People engaged in a job or profession LOVE to talk about what they do and how what they do differs from others in the same field. An additional benefit of doing it this way would be a real live resource and not information from a website. Try it!!

usually libraries have data bases that you can research through. or else you can check online encyclopedias or anything that ends in .org or .gov. teachers usually allow that. or check a geologist website thats trustworthy. and even if you cant use Wikipedia use it and at the bottom they usually have credible sources anyway and you can go directly to those sources.

hope u work it out!
