I have never had chicken pox and neither did my older brother..and we had got our vaccines a long as* time ago and still have never got it. All through elementary school lots of other kids had it and we would still play wit them but still never got it..weird huh?

I had the chicken pox when I was 7 and missed my friend's birthday party. I was pissed. I dont know if I'v been vaccinated for it or not?

I had the chicken pox once. My poor sister had it twice (luckily one time was very light). All us neighborhood kids got it together, that's how it was back before the vaccine. We all spent tons of time together and shared lollipops so we would all get them done and over with.

I had the pox at 14. It was a terrible experience. My fever got so high i started having delusions. I have a permanent scar on my neck from where the first pock appeared.

Thanks to me hugging my sister when she had the chicken pox, I got it when I was about 3 years old. I don't think it's a big deal and I think that kids should have it, get it out of their system so when they are older, they don't have to worry about getting it and getting really sick!

Had it. I also heard that the vaccine does not really prevent you from contracting the disease. I dont know how true this is but if it is what would be the point in getting it?
