To lose weight, a person has to reduce the calorie intake by some amount by modifying their diet. A diet without sufficient nutrients will only increase the appetite of the person trying to lose weight. Since most people combine a diet with an exercise plan, additional nutrients are required for the growth of muscles required to increase the metabolic rate required for long term weight loss. Well, I walk 30 minutes every day. I haven't changed my eating habits at all and since mid July, I've lost 19 pounds. No diet pills, no diet shakes, no diet anything. I split up my walking (15 minutes in the AM and 15 minutes in the PM) so that could be why I'm getting results. Keep up with the exercise and try to change your diet gradually.

You need to exercise. Join the Y, it is fun and you can take all sorts of classes for free (after you join) and even more for a small fee. like pilates, spinning, water aerobics, etc. My Y even offers belly dancing classes! You can use exercise in combination with pills or diet if you want. Once you get into it, it feels so good. Get an ipod and some cute workout clothes. that will get you motivated.
