Feel free to list as many as you please. It / they can come from any genre ~ rock & roll, country-western, R & B, whatever. And tell me why, if you wish. I could list several, but I will start with "The Tighten Up" by Archie Bell & the Drells--it's just a stupid song. Then how about Happy Together by the Turtles--stupid lyrics, irritating music/instrumentation. In the song, he sings these words: "The only one for me is you and you for me. That's redundant. What he means is "The only one for me is you, and me for you." Another is Mary's Boy Chile by a lot of people. A Christmas song about Jesus Christ being born on Christmas Day. Duh! Christmas Day was "born" to commemorate Jesus' birth, which WASN'T Christmas Day. He was born in the spring. So, whadya think? Got any for me?

About 5 yrs ago on Top Of the Pops (which is a show that plays the week's UK chart countdowns, and has live bands etc..) Had this group that i think was number one, that was singing "wheels on the bus go round and round" . They were all on stage doing the actions, young men/women dressed school kids with the girl's hair in pigtails...all singing the nursery rhyme to upbeat music. That has got to be the worst (chart) song and performance ever.....
Even the audience were lapping it all up, and joining in.
Ridiculous.

MacArthur Park by Jimmy Webb I think... you know the song " And Someone Left the Cake Out in the Rain " That's got to be one of the 5 worst songs on the planet. I don't like Muskrat Love by Captain & Tenelle either. These songs give me the heeby-geebys!

The Rolie Polie Fish heads song it goes
Fish heads fish heads rollie pollie fish head fish heads fish heads eat em up Yum
LoL pretty self explanatory,
Any childrens show songs, I have to listen to repetitively for my daughter ( i have to watch barney atleast three times a day with her)
As far as regular songs
Id have to say glassjaw- siberian kiss ( its sort of like screamo and metal) which is weird because I love metal, Everytime I hear the song its like nails scratching a chalkboard to my ears... at one point in the song he sounds just like a tazmanian devil, my husband loves it but we still get a laugh everytime we hear it
cross out the eyes by thursday- because hes got that same whiny high pitched screamy voice...
Im more into the grunge sounding vocals and more deep voices like kurt kobain alice n chains, soundgarden. seether.
I love most types of rock but I just cant get into that sort of stuff,
also anything where the vocals are so much over the music that it drowns the music out, after all the music not just the vocals is what makes the songs... an example of this would be death metal , not neccesarily that genre but theres what I like to call cookie monster vocals... lol... theres this cover song Im not sure who sings it you better watch out... cause Im the war machine...Im thinking it is a black sabbath cover not sure there but anyway the guys hilarious... he sounds like cookiemonster...
another example of this would be crowbars version of dreamweaver...
honestly I dont mind if theres death metal as long as theres some melodic sounding singing with it.. good example of this would be mudvayne... I love the combination of the two
I guess Im just weird like that, my taste in music is a little complicated
