India and Sri Lanka share Champions Trophy after wash-out.
Report: 29th sep 2002 the play was stoped by rain when India were 14 for no loss in 2 overs chasing a total of 244 for 5 by srilanka. So the match was to be played next day.
Again Srilanka won the toss and scored 222 for 7 with Jayawardene top scoring 77. India began the chase losing D Mongia for Nought to Vass but V Shewag took care of the runrate with a 25 off 22 balls. The play continued for only 8.4 overs then the rain interupted and India were 38/1.
So the cup was shared by both the teams but if they played my vote is for India.

u r bluffmaster . i m pkistani but i know the final was played between india and srilanka . no one won the match due to rain .sreies was divided
