I was looking at an adult movie and there was a generic one that said "compare to 'butt bandits' movie". Should I get the generic movie or the name brand one?

No , this is one area where quality is important.

Generic.

This is an old trick used by authors, musicians and film directors who have nothing original to say. All they need is a hack blurb writer to come up with phrases like 'evokes comparisons with...' or 'compares favourably to the best work of...', or end any word with ' - esque.'

This just flags 'rip off.'

I bet the new movie is so 'Buttbanditesque' that it's as good as watching the original (which I'm sure you own, anyway, you just won't admit it).
