use styles:
underlined
Green text
for the colors, you can use a limited set of names or the hex numbers (#RRGGBB) where R, G, and B can be any hex number (0-F) with the two Rs being how much red to add, G green, and B blue.
You should use style sheets like this since the old tags ( and ) are both depreciated, meaning that newer browsers may not recognise them and will only display plain text.

If I were you, I would use Style Sheets because text here is deprecated see link below for this and other deprecated links. Yes it will still work but what that means is that if you are developing for an organisation that will insist on validating their pages, then this tag will not validate.
