normally you can only do that with a paid yahoo account. but here is a way but it's not easy.

★★ USE OUTLOOK EXPRESS WITH FREE YAHOO! MAIL ★★

◙ Here is how to get Outlook Express to work with the free Yahoo! Mail Account. I haven't tried this myself. So I don't know how difficult it might be for a newbie.

You can’t program outlook for the free yahoo email. It works only with Yahoo Mail Plus.

With POP3 access (Yahoo Mail Plus), you can download your Yahoo! Mail messages using your desktop email program, such as Eudora, Outlook, or Netscape Mail.

You need to know your Yahoo mail server - for instance, mine is:

smtp.yahoo.com - outbound
pop.yahoo.com - inbound

If you know this - from your service provider - you can enter it.

Go to the website of your ISP and find out what the mail gateway is.

You might even try the ones listed above just to see if it works!
