No Sew Fleece?

I have made a few of those no sew fleece baby blankets but I'm wondering if I have to tie each tie once or twice? Once looks good but I'm not sure if it will hold in the washing machine. Anyone made one who can tell me?

I have some the my aunt made me they are double knotted that holds up when you wash it in a washing machine but i think one knot is not enough.

My wife has made several over the last year and once is holding up just fine so far.

The ones my mother-in-law made were all double knotted.
