The inner and outter thigh muscles are for when the body moves left and right. Try doing side to side lunges. Stand and lean your upper body forward a bit, bend your knees (like if you were baout to squat), Take a step to the left in that position then back to your starting position and take a step to the right. This way it'll work out your inner, outter thighs as well as your but.

Another way is pilates. Try lying on your back, pulling your lower abdominals in, bend your left knee and have your foot flat on the floor, extend your right leg up straight. Extend your leg out to the righ as if you were drawing a circle in the air, but make sure you don't roll over and are flat on your back. Repeat in the opposite direction. =) HOpe this helps! lay on back then get legs in air like you riding a bike it really does work
