In the South Park movie the US goes to war with Canada because Kyle's mom spearheads the "Blame Canada" movement. It still cracks me up to think of that song being nominated for an Academy Award. Go Matt and Trey!
Canadian Bacon is a live-action feature which bears some resemblance to Wag the Dog, in that serious political action is taken due to furtive, behind-the-scenes reasons.
All three films are good, but in different ways.
