I dont think it is raciest either...I just think it make the show different...Survivor was getting old...I was going to stop watching it because it has been the same for 13 seasons...But now I will give it another chance because they changed it around a bit

I only watched bits and pieces of the first season and it did not maintain my interest. People running around half naked pretending to survive just does not appeal to me.
Send a group of people to the Congo or the Sudan without a camera crew and TV host and let's see if they survive.
As far as this season being racist, I'm not sure. It seems that CBS or whoever is trying to make the show more interesting. I still don't plan on watching it.

Because ppl want something to complain and ***** about, that would be why. The people on the Survivor show obviously don't have a problem with it, cause they are on it.
People are gonna complain like racism is an issue, they wont let it go so it racism still is a problem.
I guarantee a white person wont win because thats what everyone would think anyways. Wanna bet?

I'm still waiting for Survivor Auschwitz - especially inducing a player to "take a shower."
If anyone saw Running Man in 1987 - realize that we are living in that world right now.
How about Survivor - MD House of Correction where 3 people have been shanked to death in a 2 month period

i don't mean to to realy mean or anything but its true
for example the entire latino team don't look latino at all!
i think that survivor is starting to scrap the bottom of the barrol when it comes to contestents too i mean just look at them come except the cool vitnam guy (boy i hope he wins)

I think it's funny.
People are so a fraid of race-related issue that a lot of times, they end up crying racist for no reason.
i think a lot of white people are afraid that the white group is going to do terrible and not be able to work together when the others are, and it'll make us look bad.

The show is designed to stir up prejudices. Now if any member of one of those teams screws up for any reason, people will say "Oh, see I knew those were like that." It puts way too much pressure on a small setof unqualified individuals to represent millions of others.
I won't watch it.

I don't see anything wrong with the show at all. Only another gimmic to get more viewers. But...I do have one concern and that is..."What if the white team does do well?" Is the NAACP and other organizations going to step up and declare the show was rigged?

I don't know, but you can bet the whites won't win - can you imagine how CBS would look if the white team WON?? There'd be madness in the black community, with everyone saying "Waah, CBS hates black people! Waah!" It's rigged for sure; CBS can't afford to have Jesse Jackson banging at their front doors of their Burbank studio day and night.

There is a concern that when things go wrong, that it will be a kind of subtle nudge that the other races aren't as "good" as the white race.
Personally, I wouldn't care if they broke it along lines of sexual preference, politicial affiliation, age, height or whatnot, as I don't watch the show
