None, I hate it when they make movies after books. I read a lot, more than normal. I have an addiction, truly I do. All my money goes to Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble. I have books stacked in every possible corner of my house and on every spare shelf in the place. The books are always so much better. You can make the lead characters look like you want them to look, not everyone likes blond men you know!

I really do not know about answering this question, I have seen so many movies based on books, but, I still have not read the book based on the movie yet. But, I have several movies that were based on books that I have not read, "Brokeback Mountain", "The 39 Steps", "Jaws", "Psycho", and many others that I have not been able to named right now. But, the one book that I had read that was made into a movie is The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I really did not think the movie did any justice to the book at all.

I like Hoot. I read the book before I saw the movie and I didn't really have any intention reading the book but I was bored and read it and I loved it so much that when I found out they were making a movie based on the book, I had to see the movie and when I saw the movie I loved it because the movie was so much like the book.

The Notebook. It is almost as good as the book. Many movies leave out great things that happen in books. This one touches all the basics of the book.
I would say Flowers in the Attic but that movie is completely different than the book, ends differently, and the book is wayyyyy better than the movie.
I havent watched or read "The Client" by John Grisham but I heard that was excellent. Also Runaway Jury, I havent read the book but I did watch that movie with John Cusak. Great Movie!!!

The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by Disney. They translated the book of C.S. Lewis faithfully. I hope they also produce the other 6 books of the entire Chronicles of Narnia.

i won't say that it's my favorite but i am going to say "the notebook" the book by nicholas sparks was a great read, but the movie covered alot of holes that he didn't. like the summer that noah and allie spent together. in the book it was only like 2 to 3 pages, but the movie expanded off that spun off into what could of happened. the movie complemented the book.

I usually read tech manuals or autobiographies....
The only novel I read was "Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe". I saw the movie first.
The book is definitely better and much more in depth.

I really liked Interview with a Vampire, even though the movie left so much out, it was still pretty well done. I almost didn't want to see it when Anne Rice said she didn't like Tom Cruise as Lestat... but Tom is so full of himself, who else would have been able to play that!
