So today, for the first time I decided to use the Veet hair removal cream on my legs. I must have accidently rubbed my arm against it because when I looked at it awhile later, the hair on part of my forearm was all peeling off. Will this hair grow back normally, or will it be darker and thicker?

Don't stress. You hair will not start growing in thicker if you keep doing it. My sister used to nair everything (she was a swimmer) for a long time.
She quit and her hair didn't change at all.
It is crazy to say that a cream will change the DNA structure of your hair. Your hair grows however your genetics tell it to.
Hair does change with age though.

If shaving, waxing, or removing hair with cream made it grow back thicker and darker, there wouldn't be a need for Rogaine, now would there?

Well...I don't encourage going against parental orders but if you are itching to try it I would suggest you test it in a small part of your arm because you may be allergic to it or it may start to burn before you are done applying and that's not good (from experience). I personally don't like Veet because i don't get the same results as if I were to shave.

Usually the first time hair is removed it will grow back the same as the rest of your hair, but repeated removal will cause it to regrow darker and thicker...don't do it again.

no it will grow back the same. hair that is shaved off appears to grow back thicker and darker, but thats only because you shaved off the smooth tappered end that grows out naturally.

It should grow back the same. If you accidentally do it all the time then yes your hair will grow back thicker and darker.

My mother said that hair always grows back darker, but...I think it really depends on the person's body chemistry. Chances are it won't be any different than the other hairs.

It will grow back the same. As you get older though, sometimes your arm hair will get darker and longer. It did with me and I just shave them now.

Good new: Your hair will come back the same. Better News: As you get older you will have less leg hair. Bad news: You'll start finding hair on your chin!
