if it is going to work what is the maximum time limit until i would go into labor? right now i have a cold and im burning up and throwing up. i really need some advice please.

I'm sure you meant stripping anyhow sometimes it works sometimes it dose not. If you are running a fever you should call the doctor maybe try to be induced if it's a infection causing the fever it could make the baby sick you may need on i.v. antibiotics and induced DEPENDING on how far you are if you 37weeks AT LEAST they may help you CALL your OB..

Just to let you know, my sis and I each had our membranes stripped at 2 different times and it didnt work for either one of us.

My dr. always told me if it was gonna work I would go into labor within 48 hrs after it was done.
