sorry dude, the ipod didn't have video untill the 5th generation, theres no such thing as a 4th gen ipod video.

Yes! As of September 2006, the lineup consists of the 5th generation iPod with a video player; the aluminum iPod nano with a color screen; and the iPod shuffle 'clip and go'. All three models were released in September 2006. Discontinued versions include two generations of the iPod mini, four generations of the full-sized iPod, the first generation of the iPod Nano, and the first version of the iPod Shuffle, all of which had monochrome screens (except for the 4th Generation iPod photo, the 1st Generation iPod Nano and the screen-less iPod Shuffle).

No. The fifth generation iPod was the first one with true motion video capabilities, though the higher-end fourth generation iPods (the ones with color displays) were capable of outputting still photo slide shows over a video connection.

There *is* a way to put video on a 4G iPod, but it involves installing Linux on the iPod (http://www.iplinux.siteburg.com/ ). It would not be compatible with the videos offered on iTunes.
