I don't think it's funny at any time - that REALLY Hurts!

No one ever laughed at me for hitting my funny bone. But, why do they call it a funny bone anyway when there is nothing remotely funny about it.

I disagree...when I hit my funnybone it hurts like crazy, but I'm always laughing. It hurts so bad, but I always end up laughing with everyone else.

People always laugh when something silly or embarrassing happens to somebody else.
I think when your arm is in working order again, you should whack'em all in the head, and see if they laugh.

maybe the facial expressions you make are funny. like on "awesomely bad" on VH1, that asian guy that makes that funny noise like "ooooawwwwwwwwhhhhhhhh"
