the point levels never change.. just when u get close to getting to level 2 u ask questions like this one and than u lose 2 points so. answer all the questions u can in a day everyday and dont ask questions and u will make it to level 2 quick...
i just looked at ur profile what are u talking about getting close to level 2.. u have been a member since today. it takes more than one day to get to level 2. u have to work for it all.. answer alot of questions u will make it there quick. u start with 100 points but that dont mean u are close to getting to level 2

If you would not ask so many questions your points would get higher. As for why you have to be lvl 2 to vote. It is a bonus that is rewarded to people who have been on here awhile and learned the ins and outs of Yahoo Answers.
