Non-violence is one of his great gifts to modern world among others. Non-violence and peace can still be achieved with diplomatic talks and with U.N's help. thats what i believe. Violence should be the last weapon which should be used, not first. This goes for all the countries around the world.

Principles of Gandhiji are applicable in our to days society. There are few people, who are still following his principles. Because, his principles have eternal values for mankind forever. But unfortunately, There are always conflicts between two opposite forces in our society. Now, question is which force can dominate other force. Someone may stick to his own principle, good or bad and other people may follow him , if he has the capability to influence them. As such, a great leader or original Gandhi must reincarnate in our modern society, who will be ready to get killed with a bullet in order to establish Gandhian principles in the heart of masses.
I think Gandhian principles are self explanatory to answer, what will be the impact on society.

not at all gandhi ji's principle are stil alive today and very much applicable in today's society .but it is better to say that todays's society is not aplicable in gandhiji's principle.
gandhiji said that when anybody hit you a slap on face ,show him the the other.relating it to today -being hit by somebody you give him a smiley look, he is for sure be apologising for his act .but if give him a scaring look he will be definetly try to have a sharp arugement inspite himself being the guilty.

Gandhijis policy,to forward ur other cheek if hit in one, wonder what next ,if the person slaps the other cheek too?probably, nathuram godse, killer of gandhiji was correct to say, that gandhiji was the most respected person, individualy, for his great ideology, but his policies, reg.the nation,if implemented, would have doomed the nation.

I think Gandhi's principle's are profound and have a universal appeal. They are applicable in any age/century or time. The more important question is will people of today's times apply it and would anyone be willing to die for it?

No.. there is no signigicance in today's scenario for gandhi's principals.,,, becoz today's yngersters/ generations belives in the fast growth.. n gandhi ji was saying if sm1 slaping u on ur left cheek thn allow him to slap on other right cheek .... bt this thing is nt goonaa be happend... again... coz we are educated nw n we knw our self respect.. we can protect ourself now... so i dont think so tht gandhi ji's principals are applicable now...in today's society...
