3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. cocoa powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup oil
2 tsp. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
May also make a spice cake, add 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon allspice and 1/2 teaspoon cloves in place of cocoa.
bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Cool and frost.
This recipe can be found all over the internet but I've tried it and it's very good.

Go to this website: http://www.vrg.org/recipes/vegancakes.htm
or google "Vegan Cake Recipes"
That site has a really good recipe plus tips on how to make other "party" foods without the use of dairy or eggs. Basically you just use soy milk and an egg substitute. No biggie
Have a great party!

EGGS SHOULD HAVE BEEN INTRODUCED BY NOW. AT LEAST AT 8 MONTHS. I DO NOT KNOW OF ANY CAKE LIKE THAT. THAT TYPE OF CAKE WILL BE KINDA ROUGH. THEY PROBABLY WONT EAT IT. EGGS ARE A GOOD SOURCE OF PROTEIN. GO AHEAD AND INTRODUCE EGGS. MY DAUGHTER TURNED A YEAR OLD IN JULY, I VIDEO TAPED HER PARTY. IT WAS AT THE PARK. IT WAS REALLY FUN. A LOT OF BABIES. A LOT OF CAKE. ALL OF THE CHILDREN WERE FINE. MAKE HER PARTY A BLAST. VIDEO TAPE IT SO SHE CAN SEE IT WHEN SHE GET OLDER. SHE WILL LOVE IT.

The eggs and milk will not do any harm. introduce it to her and watch her she will be fine.
My daughter's first birthday we did a fairy theme. I dressed her as a fairy and sent out fairy invites. If you would like a copy of the invite mail me.I baked her a fairy castle cake with a lot of fairy's lounging around. She was too little to even appreciate it. But it was more fun for her older siblings.

I say introduce eggs today and then make a regular cake. Provide animal crackers for children whos parents do not wish them to have cake. But make your daughter up a batch of scrambled eggs and watch her devour them! It is safe and she will be fine with them.

My son merely grew to become a million this previous october and we actually have a super relatives and that i spent way too lots money and overplanned. quite some human beings rsvp'd and did not prepare. i finished up with a ton of greater nutrition, candies, and video games. yet i did save money on plates and cups via purely paying for the least volume of the "themed" products and then going to the dime save to purchase plates with the comparable shade sceme and the adults used those whilst my son and the different toddlers used the themed plates and cups. With the social gathering being in june and exterior you will have a "deliver a dish" social gathering the place as you're to blame for the cake, refreshments, and doubtless some hotdogs and then the different travellers would desire to deliver chips and different issues. I had quite some youthful toddlers attending the social gathering so i merely offered coloring books and bubbles on the dime save and had them set up. save the video games and different stuff for events your son will remember.

U usually introduce whole milk at one so what's wrong with that are you saying that the child doesn't eat ANYTHING with eggs or milk? mac n cheese.....mashed potatoes? nothing! does it really matter if you are not giving it to her directly!!!
