Maybe it's dry or something is really stuck up there.... get a nose spray- one for just moister and spray a couple of squirts up there. And then re-pick or blow. Your nose might just be dried out. I use to take a q tip and coat the inside of my nose with Vaseline because it would get so dry, I would have the same problem.

If you have a sinus infection, your nostril could be swollen inside. Or you might have a growth in your nostril. Allergies sometimes cause a pus filled cyst in the nostril. It would be best to see a doctor; it's nothing to be embarrassed about; it's a health concern that should be taken care of.

You just have dry nostrils. You can go to a local pharmacy for specific over-the-counter cream. It would feel like something is lodged up there because the dryness on the skin irritates your nostrils.

This is not stupid nor crude. You probably have a small cyst or some type of node in your nose. If it bothers you all the time or if it has recently appeared see your doctor.

ok this might or might not work but it works for me. Push the opposite nostril down and then blow as hard as you can and it should come out. But if it doesnt then it could just be an irritation or something.

Might not be as stupid as you think. You possibly have swollen adnoids or some sort of infection. Doctor is definately something to go to next.

There could be a growth of some sort, or an ulcer. Is your breathing obstructed? A doctor is the only one who can tell for sure.

You've gotten some good answers.
If it's been going on for more than a few days, or if it continues for several more days, you may want to have it checked out. In all likelyhood, it's gonna go away on it's own, though.

Try a nasal spray. That feeling could be just dry blood vessels in your nose.
