The word hid in Hungarian means bridge. They are building a new bridge and the vote was unaminous, Stephen Colbert won. the bridge will be called Stephen Colbert hid. This is a wonderful victory for Stephen, let's all celebrate!

I found it funny. Though it's not likely the bridge will be named after him -- as another poster pointed it out, those names voted for were only suggestions, and Colbert was virtually unknown in Hungary before this.

lol Nooo, it won't be named after him. The vote's aim was only to suggest names. The name will be decided by a committee, and they are not likely to choose someone who is hardly known here. Also, the rule says that bridges can be named after deceased people, so Colbert really has no chance.
