Believe me I am NOT, and I repeat NOT a pedophile but sometimes when I am driving home from work and I pass the middle school, some of the girls dress so provacatively and are wearing tight little miniskirts or short shorts and some even have their thongs sticking out. We are talking 7th and 8th graders here. I feel guilty for EVEN looking at them walking on the sidewalks but some part of me notices that they are physically mature as an 18 year old, and I do get a little aroused but I NEVER EVER act on it but is even looking guilty? I mean is it wrong to notice or look even? Maybe I am just shocked cause when I was in middle school, I never ever seen girls dresssed like that. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

You have MTV, videos (hate to sound cliché!), and popular music to thank, but that's what's influencing these young chicks to dress and act the way they do...these warped, misogynistic images dupe these girls and give them a wrong image of what being a woman really is: to wear less, leave nothing to a man's imagination, and get as many boys as possible.
Then they have the effrontery to display themselves on cess-pools like MySpace, and other "bogs"!
I don't think anyone should be taken aback or aghast when these hussies turn up missing, raped, or God forbid it, murdered. But these young girls are just that: dumb. You have to remember that kids like to play "dress-up" and re-hearse for adulthood; in this case, womanhood.

man it pisses me off how they dress slutty now. I used to work for a retail company and in the kids section, they had girl thongs and stuff like that. Everyone was flipping too.

sounds pretty normal, there is this kid who works in the drive thru at mcdonalds and i think he is cute, i am 38, have a son not much younger than this kid- honestly he is a cute kid- but he is a KID- i dont look at him and think hey i want to bang him- i see him, think wow some day he is going to be a very attractive man- and then i eat my damn fries. dont feel guilty. its ok to notice attractive people of any age. long as that is all you are doing.
