Go to a sub shop. Then there are more choices than just a Chinese Restaurant and it has better healthier choices that McDonald's and you won't be tempted to get French Fries.
If not, just cut up a salad. Have the kids help out, maybe they won't complain if they help "cook" too.

Let the kids cook dinner (you supervise). Most kids love to cook and it would be a great way to spend some quality time with your kids.

Why don't you let the kids decide what they are going to eat, if they want ice cream and candy let them have it it's not going to hurt them having junk for one night. After all, they've been through a lot the last couple days.
