How many vacations days has Mr. Bush done while in his 2 terms of presidency? What is customary? What was Bush doing and where was he?

Anything would be helpful. Compare him to other presidents at the time of war and national disasters.

Having the story book read to him while he sucked his thumb? No that was not vacaton that was just a pure embarasment and he looked so clue less. That was one film clip that will live on in imfamy like jamming out while people were suffering after katrina. It is just pityful and foolish not a vacation. Just a national embarasment.

This was what I was talking about when I asked about not actually answering questions. As far as I can see Shag is the only person who truly answered what you asked.
And I should not of answered because I do not know the answer. So sorry.

Give it a rest, unlike the average person dragging kids through Disney World, the president's vacations have been anything but restful, daily briefings for multiple agencies, video conferences set up in minutes, then he has an hour or so a day to get on his mountain bike and ride like a wild man. He can run the government from Crawford Texas, air force one, Billy Bob's Bar-b-q, just as well as from the White House.

He has been out of the white house, but has not had one day of vacation since he took office. No President ever gets a day off. Their staff is with them, they still get daily briefs, they address issues of events going on while they are on vacation. So I would have to say the number has been zero..

Just put it this way... If all jobs allowed employees to have as many vacation days as the President of the US has... this country would already be in a great depression.
Its pretty sad... But that is ok because after this term he cannot run again WOOHOOOOOO

I'm sure he isn't a little concerned about how many days vacation he has taken since taking office... Pretty hard job if you ask me (and ya did), and I would say vacation days are "tallied" by someone in his "house".

Not as many as Clinton.... and, Bush still takes care of business while on "vacation"....

any time a Congressional politician is away from Washington DC, is a good time.... it is harder for them to do harm to the USA if they can't vote on pork and give aways....

I can't say, or even answer any of you questions but I would like to offer that the country is a safer and better place when he is on vacation. When he is dangerous is when he is working. I kind of wish he would go on a permanent vacation and give the country a fighting chance.

Does reading "My Pet Goat" while the country is under attack, count as vacation?
