Seriously. If you feel like crap and you are cramping there is a 99.9% chance it's labor. Shouldn't the first stop be calling their doctor or, oh, I don't know a trip to the er?
I'm a mom, so don't rip on me that I don't understand, cuz I do.

OK allyska, I get it. But they are paying the Dr.'s bill. If they cannot stand up for themselves, how are they going to do it for their own child and their medical needs?

Did any one understand that I am pointing out that these women are not doing what is best for them? Oh, as for being a tight ***, that's funny cuz I am so not!

Ya know Jamari makes a good point! And by the way i totally agree with you. Sometimes i find myself asking the same question. But, to myself of course. Alot of women post questions like Could i be pregnant? Sometimes i want to crawl through my computer and slap them. Take a test, read a pregnancy book, look at one of the MILLIONS of pregnancy websites, and etc. How hard is that? But, what Jamari says is very true. We ask our doctors if we are pregnant and he says no. we continue to ask ourselves is it still possible? Doctors are wrong sometimes but, why cant we just except the fact that were probably not and just drop it.
Some questions on here however are some really good questions. Especially questions about Multiples. No one can trully understand that until they are carrying Multiples. Website about multiples are very slim. Only i think about 10 books have been published about multiples. So info on that is different.
Alot of people come off to me as very hopeful to become parents but, cant except the fact that their not pregnant.
And then some are so young i wonder how they even knew what sex was. Sometimes it makes me very sad to hear some of the questions. But, everyone wants an answer and I personally can say I have heard ALOT of stupid answers on here which is actually is what aggrivates me the most. People who have no clue what they are talking answering questions. Its like the Blind leading the Blind in this place! Anyhow just thought i would give my 2 cents!

They might not be positive. They might want help from others--they may just need advice. That is what Y!A is for. For people who are unsure about their situation. And to be honest--if a person has time to think "Am I in labor?" and sit down to write a question. They probably aren't. I know before I had my son, there were several times I didn't know if I was in labor--I had Braxton Hicks contractions. I never went to the ER. I knew when it was the "real deal" You don't know what it is like to be THEM. I know I didn't want to waste a doctor's time on false labor. If you don't like hearing about it---skip the question. How hard is that?

You dont talk to a doctor about everything. A male doctor cannot fully explain the actual pain or feelings you have. Yeah they can medically but not physically.

Some women are jus curious and wants to know what the feelings are. NO harm in asking on Yahoo. When I experienced symptoms during my pregnancy I went and asked my friends who had children. If it wasnt common with them then I went to my doctor!

Wish you didn't ask the question yet? Let me break this down for you... This site is called ANWERS... so what do you think we are looking for? If we called our doctor every single time we had one little question... the phones would always be busy. On here we are asking if people have experienced the same thing... and what they did. So please lady stop worrying about it, if you don't like reading the post... then stay out of the Pregnancy questions. This section is for pregnant women seeking answers...Duh!

Because first-time moms are scared. Because they don't want to sound stupid when talking to their doctors or anyone who actually knows them, so it's easier to ask anonymous voices on the internet. Because their doctor may have warned them about Braxton-Hicks contractions and don't want to waste a trip to the ER. Because when you've never felt a real contraction before and you've eaten baked beans, you're not exactly sure if you've got gas or are in labor (that happened to my sister-in-law).

I didn't know I was in labor for 4 hours. In that time I could feasibly have posted a question asking why I felt so yucky. But once the pain became very strong and I could tell when it began and ended, I knew it was labor. Perhaps these women who irratate you are in that early stage of labor that is hard to identify, especially if they are first timers.

I totally agree with you that they should be calling a doctor but maybe they are scared or just want someone whos already been through it's opinion. Who know's people are weird and sometimes dumb when your in a situation like that.

well technically No. Not all the time. Because before your body actually starts to be in labor, u commonly get Braxton- Hicks contraction. and dats your body practicing contractions to get you ready for birth. That's why sometimes woman go and it can be false labor. But the most logical person to contact is a doctor

See it's indiviuals like yourself that bring joy into this world with your little go to the doctors......duh everyone knows that! Sometimes women like to talk to other women about labor, unlike yourself not everyone has gave birth so maybe they like to come on here and ask questions it helps them calm down....Do you get that. LOL dumb ***!

Why do you care go on with your day.........

Like women don't goto the doctor....are you kidding me! They know that I don't think you get it...you act as if they ask a question and they get some out of this world answer, do you think they are really going to follow that answer NO...I ask alot of questions on here, some people are pretty normal...

Because thats not always what cramping means.....it could be tons of things...and usually people freak out and dr's arent always the best at answering.....what if you have a wonderful male dr. but hes never given birth right? :) i mean sometimes women understand more than men no matter how "qualified" they might be......:) Just my guess
