I've just been offered a job but I have two more interviews on Tuesday. How do I stall the first potential employer until I have gone to these interviews? The first job would be just a job for now, it has some potential for growth but isn't exactly what I was looking for. The other two are management trainee positions which is exactly what I was looking for. However, I don't want to jeopardize my chances with the first company in case things don't work out with the other two. Does anyone have some good advice for me?

Ask the job how long do you have to decide, you want a lilttle more time to make right decision.

you can also tell them, that you have to give your present job notice. so you will need at least 2 weeks.

Everyone has differerent answers........Only you can decide.........my opinion on the matter is, if you can whether the storm until you find something you will enjoy, forget about the job offered to you(the 1st one). So many individuals these days get stuck in the rut of just finding a job for a paycheck and 2 months down the road they hate or are looking for something else. Don't become one of these individuals. Although, everyone has to do whatever they can to get by , but life is more enjoyable if you love the things around you. Especially your job, which if you have family and friends, brings home positive conversations and excitement, instead of the usual, "how was work today honey", "It was fine". Love for your job can only help your life relationships, so if you want some advice.......... do what you love to do, not what you feel you have to do............God Bless and good luck

Just tell them that you cant start work until a given date, if that doesn't work then why work there, i mean you already said that it's not what you were looking for. Its bad enough you have to go to work, but it's even worse if you have to go a place that you don't like. If I were you I'd go to the job interview.
