Mini skirts, go go boots, Villager brand dresses, "mod" looking prints on clothing, pale pink lipstick, "flower power" stickers, AM radio (fm didn't exist most places yet), 45 records, quilling (making pictures from combining little scrolls of colored paper), long hair on guys, making "sand" art from colored sand in clear glass containers, pogo sticks, schwinn bicycles, wooden skateboards, clip on rollerskates, yo-yo's.
To the person that wrote pet rocks, that was early 70's (I remember, I had one ;-)

People used to ride bicycles that had long seats that curved at the back. These were known as banana seats. (yes people still do,but back then it was hella cool,first time) and you can't forget jimmy hendricks,and the music,and the peace it brought.
