any body know anything about starview boxes, mines gone blank dont know wether its broke or needs upgrading mi

not sure if you mean a freeview box, sorry if i'm wrong. Its common for these boxes to freeze or for the screen to go black. Sometimes weather causes it, on really hot days it effects ours as well as a sudden drop in temp, my digital camera also freezes up when it gets overheated, its a pain. Sometimes its cause so many people are trying to watch the same channel. Switch it off at the mains then put it on again and hopefully it will have rectified the probelm, it ususally does with ours, sometimes it won't switch to stand by mode so we have to switch it off at the mains.
