As gross as it sounds a couple of nights ago and also a couple weeks ago I had diarrhea, leg cramps in the upper part and lower part, frequent urination, light yellow discharge, cramps in my lower abdomen, light back pain, and stabbing pressure down there, and also a weak feeling in my arms and a light headed feeling and head ache. I am 36 weeks. Could this mean labor is right around the corner,or does this happen way before labor gets here?

Your body is getting ready for labor. Your baby probably dropped & that's why you're feeling these symptoms. As long as your baby is born after 37 weeks, it's considered to be full term & should be healthy. Good luck

It is a little early for labor (full term isn't for at least another week) ... but it is possible! I've been experiencing almost ALL of the same symptoms for the past week (I am 39 +2days). You can experience these things for weeks before the onset of labor. If you notice a large glob of jelly-like mucus (may be tinged with brown or pink) then you might want to be on the alert. Also, if your water breaks that is a SURE SIGN that labor is immenent. It's coming soon - and everything you are experiencing is getting your body ready for the main event! Good luck to you!

Yea it sounds like it. The baby drops into the birth position around that same time, dat why ur stomach at times drops too. If u have really bad cramps, and at the top of ur stomach feels rock hard, u are having contractions. After 36-37 weeks is considered full term so ur baby could be born soon.

I'd say so. It's early stages of labor. Your body is preparing itself to have the baby by doing some "spring cleaning". Those cramps and pains, time them. They might be Braxton Hicks or they might be real labor pains. Most of those are tell tale signs of labor. Go get checked out to see if you are dilated and/or effaced any. If at anytime your baby hasn't move at least 10 times in an hour, go to the hospital or go when your water breaks. Good luck and best wishes!

You could have irritable bowel syndrom right now. A lot of pregnant women experience it at least once during their pregnancy. It could also be braxton hicks that are causing the abdomen and back pain. This will come and go and are nothing to worry about. Hormones could be causing the rest of it. If you are really worried, call your doctor and let them know what is going on. They may be able to tell you some things to help, or let you know what they want you to do.

You need to call the doctor if you are having all those problems. Explain to the nurse what is going on. You could go and see him if you think you are going into labor. It really sounds like your body is getting ready. As far as how long till it happens, nobody can tell for sure. The doctor's can guess, but until it happens, nobody knows.

lol, oh you have been reading books havent you? lol...well my dear no matter what you read or belive your labour will happen when it wants to happen. They do say that those are signs of laboutr, but i belive they are all symptoms of the later part of pregnancy. Youcan feel those things for weeks before it actually happens. when its gonna hppen you'll know, trust me. by the way have you started "nesting" yet? im sure you have by 36 weeks, lol

You probably lost your mucus plug. That means you're pretty close. I would call the Dr, though. All those symptoms together could mean something is wrong. You can't know unless you consult your OB/Gyn
