basicly i want to make a website to sell expensive items like for maybe 500 bucks and i want to know will there be enough traffic on my website to keep my buissness running?

Depends on the product. But you need good advertising. A good marketing plan (Branding, customer service, image management) and making sure the product is actually wanted in the market and at a price which is affordable.
Next thing you have to show people is TRUST. This is also done through marketing, but also using SSL certificates for making sure the website is hack proof (VeriSign is great for this but there are others).

1) one is traffic
1) second is quality traffic
am talking about a website which has a 500 arround alexa traffic rank, and about 6/10 google's page rank.
get a free back link from this site, get a lot of free traffic, in this site you get free credits, and with that you get free traffic.
