This question doesn't make any sense out of context. What are you auditioning for? What have auditionees been asked to prepare?

If it's a monologue that showcases you and your talent/range, why not? But just decide if that's the image you want to project for casting purposes.

WEll, have you heard about this casting director before? If he's one of those people who are really outgoing, then do it! If not...well, maybe something more dramatic will have ot do.
