It's always a bit of a challenge to watch in the beginning because you don't know who is who. It's like a good novel - it takes a while to get into it. As far as the races being split up - I think Mark Burnett is incredibly smart. It generated a lot of hipe so that more people were curious enough to watch it this season. I mean how long has it been on - same beginning each time - hot place, wet place, no fire, rice and coconuts every meal blah blah blah. Burnett had to generate some interest somehow. Tell me, what's the difference between the race thing this year and the age thing last year. How do we know whether the Seniors got their knickers in a knot over that one??? Everyone has issues right???

My husband & I are die hard fans! He applied to be on it a few years back, but we never heard anything back...bummer! Last nights show was GOOD! I think it's funny how so many people are making such a big deal about the race thing...get over it! They will eventually be put into 2 tribes and then one anyway! It was ok a few years back when it was men vs. women but now because it's by race people are blowing a stink about it! HEy as long as you do your part and get yourself out there it doesn't matter what race you are! There are lazy people and hard working people of all races! I'll have to say though I'm excited that they put the Exile Island back on again too. That makes for an awesome twist! Not sure if the voting was the best last night though! Thought they should've kept the guy...he was a leader! They always get rid of the good ones!

I wasn't too impressed! I've watched Survivor since the very beginning so I guess I'm getting bored with the show because it's basically the same thing over and over.

I do not watch the show, but I have been displeased by the number of people who approved of the show's producers to divide up the contestants based on their ethnic background. It's not cute or novel in any respect. Racism and prejudice are in the past and should remain there. On the contrary, instead of categorizing individuals by race, we must always be conscious of our tendency to do so and we must caution ourselves not to fall prey to simplistic ways of looking at the world. Survivor wants us to take a step backward and I for one do not wish to do so, even if it is in the context of a "reality" television game show.

I liked it they have some very interesting people so far. Let's hope people vote out the ones who should go this time instead of keeping them around.

This is the first season I've watched in several seasons. I had gotten totally burnt out on it, but the idea of how they're doing the new tribes sucked me in. It started out pretty good...
