try a little lemon juice and lay it on a white sheet out in the sun.....lemon is a mild brightener

Soak it in Oxyclean and luke warm water. Rinse and repeat the Oxyclean soak. The water may turn yellow but the dress will be white. Oxyclean is not a bleach and will not destroy the crochet thread. Enzyme cleaners are very effective on delicate fibers.

Oh.. that sounds like a beautiful garment.. I would NOT want to try to bleach it myself.. I think (No, I know) I would take it to a cleaners.. a good cleaners and ask them what would be the best solution for getting it white... I say a good cleaners, meaning that I would talk with someone there who knows what they are doing and not some kid who just started last week workilng there.

Use the white gown, and doubtless you may gown it up with a crimson ribbon tied right around the waist. Or colored tights. in trouble-free terms a small touch of colour will throw off the christening gown look. Oh, and that i positioned my daughter in a crimson gown with lace at my cousin's wedding ceremony, and have been given asked how old is he?!?! old women can regularly mistake gender. suitable needs.

If you do not want to use a chorine bleach, try a 50 percent solution of ordinary Peroxide and water. Soack it for about 15 minutes.

Posibaly. A friend of mine took an old wedding dress in to get it white again and the drycleaner said he could do it but it would take several times.

Washing machine gentle cycle, cold water wash, with a small amount of bleach or Oxyclean works fantastic, flatten and spread out to air dry

Use Vinegar & Water 1cup of vinegar & use a dab of bleach & your regular laundry detergent I use vinegar when I wash all my clothes & no the smell won't be there they come out nice & bright.Good Luck

depends on fiber. i would take it to a professional launder/dry cleaner that i trusted.would really help to know what it is made of. non chlorine bleach and wash it.peroxide and baking soda wash.....good luck
