Try your local primary school, or even the one you went to. Tell them you want to do an art/sport activity, and maybe even suggest a couple of ideas? Choose Year 2, if you can. You will have a great time, and you will learn to see your old teachers as human beings. You'll learn a lot, I promise.

If you like art and sports either go to a sports center or a primary school where you specify that you want to do arts with the kids. This way they get to work on a special mosaic or collage, printing etc. with you that they couldn't do in thier usual time...

Have you thought about volunteer work? You can do volunteer work through your Jr. Achievement Program in your area. A lot of teens do that here in my town and they love what they do. It's anywhere from working (volunteering) in hospitals to babysitting or working with kids in a day care center to outdoor activities such as building a new playground for preschoolers. Check with your local Junior Achievement program and ask them about opportunities for you.
Good luck!

How about a children's entertainer, it is great fun and the people who do it travel a lot around your area, also try the local safety organisation (i.e rospa) and also maybe volunteer at the local theatre.
But most of all, all jobs can be boring, even mine and I have the best job in the world!!!

i worked in a nursery it was a lot of fun but if you want true realistic view of work, go to a factory i can assure you, you will learn that work is hard and you should stick in at school, so it depends if you want to learn somthing from it go for the factory if not and you just want a laugh nursery, is cool cos you just talk 2 the little kids all day and paint pictures! but if i was you go for the factory my life would have turned out differently

As long as you don't go to a lab, you'll be ok. I did my work experience a few years back in a lab and it damaged my back and gave me calluses, from standing up 8 hours a day screwing lids on bottles.
